P--Preview/scan the title, introduction, subtitles, pictures, charts, maps, graphs, bold print & italics, summary, end questions
Q--Question--Write questions on left side of 2-column notes.
R--Read silently from the beginning, thinking about how you will summarize the passage in your own words.
R--Remember--Summarize in your own words.
S--Scan/review--Scan the same section of your text. Look for any important details/errors in your first summary.
T--Touch Up--Add any important details to your notes.
